Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use the GearTrove website or buy from us. By placing an order you agree to them, so please read them first. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.

You must be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian’s permission, to place an order. We currently ship only to addresses in the contiguous United States.

When you place an order, we email a confirmation. That confirmation means we received it, not that we accepted it. We accept your order when we ship it.

Prices are in US dollars and include no tax; sales tax is added at checkout where it applies. We work hard to keep prices, stock levels and specifications accurate. If we find a pricing or listing error after you order, we’ll contact you before shipping, and you can cancel for a full refund.

We may limit quantities or cancel orders that look fraudulent or are placed for resale.

Orders placed by 5 pm local time usually ship the same business day. Standard shipping is free on orders over $150. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. Ownership and risk of loss pass to you when the carrier delivers your order. If a package arrives damaged, tell us within 7 days and we’ll make it right. More detail is on the shipping page.

You can return any unused part in its original packaging within 30 days of delivery for a full refund to your original payment method. Parts that have been installed, modified, or used can’t be returned unless they’re defective.

We refund within 2 business days of receiving the return. Unless the return is covered by the fitment guarantee or the part is defective, return shipping is your cost. See returns for how to start one.

If our site said a part fits the vehicle you saved in My Garage, and it doesn’t, we’ll cover return shipping both ways and refund or replace it.

The guarantee applies when:

• The year, make and model you saved match the car the part was bought for.
• The car uses factory components where the part mounts. Aftermarket or modified parts can change fitment.
• You contact us before installing the part, or as soon as you find it doesn’t fit.

Many of the parts we sell affect how your vehicle brakes, steers and handles. Installing them wrongly can cause serious injury or damage. By buying from us you accept that:

• You’re responsible for installing parts correctly, following the manufacturer’s instructions and torque specifications. If you’re not confident, have a qualified mechanic install them, which we strongly recommend for brake, suspension and forced-induction parts.
• Our install notes and chat advice are general guidance, not a substitute for a professional inspection.
• Some products, such as certain light bars, are sold for off-road or show use only. You’re responsible for checking that a part is legal for road use where you drive.
• Some performance parts may affect emissions compliance or your vehicle’s warranty. Check your state’s rules (for example, CARB in California) before installing them.

Parts come with their manufacturer’s warranty, and we’ll help you make a claim. Apart from those warranties and what the law requires, products are sold “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Some states don’t allow these disclaimers, so they may not apply to you.

To the extent the law allows, GearTrove isn’t liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, such as lost time or the cost of a tow, arising from your use of our site or products. Our total liability for any claim about an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, such as liability for personal injury caused by our negligence.

If you post a review or send us a message, you confirm it’s your own honest experience and give us permission to display it on our site. We don’t edit reviews to change their meaning, but we may remove ones that are abusive, off-topic, or contain personal information.

The site’s content, including text, drawings, product data and the GearTrove name and logo, belongs to us or our suppliers. You may use it to shop and for personal reference. Please don’t:

• Copy or scrape the catalog or fitment data in bulk.
• Interfere with the site’s security or try to access other customers’ information.
• Use the site for anything unlawful.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute that can’t be settled by talking to us first will be handled in the state or federal courts in Travis County, Texas, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally.

We may update these terms from time to time and will change the date at the top of this page when we do. The version in effect when you placed an order applies to that order.
